Lead Pastors

Dan and Sarah Goostree both grew up in rural Southwest Missouri where Dan was raised working in agriculture and cattle.  After getting married when they were 19 and 20 years old, Sarah worked in banking and Dan served on the Highway Department before they decided to join the poultry industry.  Sarah was the primary manager of the poultry houses while Dan had a litter spreading business and grew corn and soy beans.  

Family has always been very important to them so they appreciated the flexibility that farm life provided, especially the time to be involved in the activities of their 2 daughters while they were growing up. 

As Dan and Sarah were seeking a deeper relationship with the LORD and desiring to surrender all to Him, the LORD led them to sell their farm that had successfully supported their family for 23 years. Without knowing where He was taking them, they trusted and obeyed God’s leading.

Step by step God led them into full time ministry. They are the co-founders and lead pastors of The Gathering Tabernacle in Rocky Comfort, MO where they also host a satellite office for Kineo Ministry Training.  Dan and Sarah’s hearts are to host the presence of the LORD, see people set free from the bondage of sin and stepping into their true identity in Christ.
